Respironics (LifeCare) PLV-100 volume ventilator. Probably the most commonly used ventilator. A large, heavy, rugged workhorse. For wheelchair use, a tray is required, extending the wheelchair's length in back.
Pulmonetic LTV series volume vent is lightweight and utilizes digital controls. Because it is a fairly new product, many respiratory professionals are reluctant to prescribe it.
